The Ram Trail is Strasburg’s newest community initiative, bringing Aluminum Ram statues to life as bold markers of our heritage, spirit, and pride. We are inviting artists, schools, and community groups to submit designs that will transform these statues into one-of-a-kind works of art for the whole town to enjoy.

Who Can Apply

  • Local and regional artists

  • School art programs and student groups

  • Community organizations with a creative vision

What We’re Looking For

Each Ram should reflect Strasburg’s unique character, history, and pride. Designs can draw inspiration from:

  • Strasburg’s heritage and traditions

  • The strength and spirit of the Ram mascot

  • Community pride, unity, and small-town life

Submission Requirements

  • A completed Artist Application Form

  • A design sketch of your Ram concept (digital or hand-drawn)

  • A short artist statement (150–300 words) describing your inspiration and approach

  • Materials list (paints, coatings, special techniques, etc.)

Selection Process

Submissions will be reviewed by a committee of town staff and community members. Approved artists will be matched with a Ram statue, along with guidelines and a completion timeline.
